I’m Rick. I’m still learning.
I am not here to tell you I have God all figured out, to win an argument, or to fix anybody. I am sharing a real life with Jesus—what I have experienced, where I have failed, what I have questioned, how my understanding has changed, and what I am still learning.
I am learning that truth is meant to become life: love that shows up, living water when we are dry, and the abundant life Jesus talked about. For me, that begins with relationship, not argument—and with learning to love people instead of trying to fix them. I may be wrong about some things. That is okay. The conversation can stay honest.

Learning to Live What I Thought I Knew
At twenty, I thought I knew enough to teach. It took me nearly fifty years to realize how much I still had to learn about love, fear, failure, grace, relationships, judgment, and what it means to actually live what I believed.
I spent much of my life trying to get it right. This is what I discovered when I couldn't. I'm not offering a finished theology. I'm sharing the questions, failures, experiences, and changes that shaped the way I now understand Jesus.
